The ancient Egyptian home of celebration was created in 1400 BC during the reign of Amenhotep III and completed by Ramses II. It is the famous home of the festival of Opet to honor the pharaohs' powers of divinity, and only the heavenly moon of the night can reveal its beauty and ancient secrets.

In Egypt, tipping—often referred to as “baksheesh”—is a traditional way to show appreciation for good service. While it’s not mandatory, it is highly appreciated and often expected in the tourism and hospitality sectors.
Here are our recommended tipping guidelines:
- Tour Guide: $15–$20 per day, per group
- Driver: $5–$10 per day, per group
- Nile Cruise Crew: $5–$10 per person, per night (shared among staff)
- Hotel Staff (porters, housekeeping, etc.): $1–$2 per service
Tipping Tips
- Tipping is not included in your tour package
- We recommend bringing small bills in USD or Egyptian Pounds (EGP) for convenience
- When in doubt, a friendly tip goes a long way in enhancing your travel experience!
